Services available through the Decatur County Chancery Court include but are not limited to civil litigation, probate, adoption, child support, and divorce adjudication.

Decatur County is part of the 24th Judicial District of Tennessee, which is composed of Henry, Carroll, Benton, Decatur, and Hardin counties.

Elizabeth J. Carpenter serves as the Chancery Court Clerk / Clerk and Master / Juvenile Court Clerk, having held the position of Chancery Court Clerk since her appointment in 1988.

The Honorable Vicki H. Hoover serves as the Chancellor for the 24th Judicial District.
